Taste of Carlsbad Village 2025

NOTE: THIS EVENT IS SOLD OUT AS OF FRIDAY MORNING 8/29

The Annual Taste of Carlsbad Village returns in 2025 to the Village on October 9th.

So why announce this in mid-August?

First, the Taste of Carlsbad Village is traditionally very popular, typically selling out quickly each year. And second, tickets go on sale August 29th at 9 am so you’ll want to put that on your calendar with an alert so you don’t miss your opportunity.

Carlsbad food lovers will spend 3 hours on Thursday October 9th from 5 to 8 pm on a self-guided tour with map and Passport (the ticket), tasting their way around our charming Carlsbad Village. So what is the appeal of the Taste of Carlsbad Village? Simply, it’s the opportunity to enjoy bite-sized samples from dozens of local popular restaurants.

This is a terrific opportunity to check out restaurants you don’t know or haven’t tried, plus enjoy your favorites, too! Here’s a list of participating restaurants as of August 12 and more may be added.

NOTE - Ticket prices are still to be announced. Last year they were as follows - Passport Food Only Tickets were $45; Passport Tickets Plus Adult Sip Stops were $60. 100 VIP experience tickets were $100 (included the Food and Sip Stops plus swag and other perks). Only 1000 tickets will be sold.

Adult Sip Stops around the Village are hosted in retail locations. The Sip Stops will offer tastings of craft beer, wine, hard kombucha, hard seltzers, and more (must be 21 and over).

Non-alcoholic beverages will also be available throughout the evening as well as a water-filling station.

Parking is free in Carlsbad Village, a big plus. However, given the popularity of this foodie event you’ll want to arrive early to find the best parking. No doubt there will be plenty of people in town for this popular event!

The #TasteOfCarlsbadVillage has sold out each year in the past, and no doubt will again in 2025. Don’t miss this terrific food lovers opportunity in Carlsbad!

Our Village is pretty small so this works well Nina Hollander, Broker. Our 2 big San Diego Restaurant Weeks are both 8 days. Other small town taste events that I have seen (e.g., Encinitas) are also 1 day (hours) only.
