This cartoon reminds me of all the paperwork related to Real Estate transactions and how the paperwork can blow us away.

I have always advocated for secretaries. I hired one on day one as a Realtor even though I had no idea how I would pay her or him (I have had male secretaries as well). I HATE paperwork! Every minute I would be pushing paper would be a minute I could do what I do best, SELL!

I learned the value of a good secretary years prior to Real Estate and I know having her/his help back in the office easily doubled my income and cut my stress levels considerably. If you hate paperwork as I do you need to consider this action. Again, I had no idea how I would pay a secretary and times were tight at first but again, it gave me time to do what I do best.

Do you enjoy the cartoons written by my son (Timmothy N. Timm) which I use as a springboard to write my daily posts? His strip, Titus & Philemon, has run in two newspapers for years as well as being printed in my blog every day. Titus & Philemon (pronounced Phi - Lee -Man) are guinea pigs. Their owner is Joe. Good morning, Bob... I have very little paperwork these days... everything seems to be done on-line. My paper files are very thin for years. But even when we had more paper floating around I did my own paperwork... I could do it faster and more accurately than anyone else.

I understand Nina Hollander, Broker but I absolutely hate paperwork. I would possibly still be in RE if it were not for the paperwork.

I never had a problem with paperwork and actually kind of like it. Haha. So I had no need for a secretary. Of course, I WAS one once so that might have helped.

Kat Palmiotti I am not sure why I have so much trouble with it. It really causes me trouble at the end of the year as I prepare for tax time.

A secretary was the first person I hired when I opened my first real estate office. She happened to be a young cousin who lived nearby.

Paperwork, Paperwork, Bob I hate it also but in Real Estate we have to do it and each year it gets more and more.
