Good Tuesday morning, Kathy. This is a good day to celebrate. 

Good morning, Kathy... I'd be just fine without a camera! Most of the time I forget I have one in my phone. I've long said that I don't know which I hate more: being behind a camera or in front of a camera. I do realize I fall out of the norm in this regard. :)

Hello Kathy - yesterday was new phone day for me.  As the helpful salesperson was assisting me, she said one particular model was "better" because of its camera.  I said, it didn't matter as I don't take photos.  Enjoy the day however you celebrate it.  🤳📷😎

I take tons of photos and simply could not pick a favorite! Today I'm going to be going on a hike to a firetower and bet I will be taking a lot more photos!

Good morning Kathy. I am beginning to think Nina Hollander, Broker and I are related, soince many times we think alike. I take few photos and don't like to be I photos. That said my phone is loaded with photos of my grandkids. Enjoy your day.

Years ago when we went on vacation we always made sure to bring lots of film and our camera...then we got digital cameras (and they always came along). Now our phones do everything including waking us up in the morning.

Kathy, today we're going to be with our photographer who will be taking the photos of a new condo listing. I'll be looking for different angles he uses in them.

I have so many photos, and so many favourites, they all evoke memories of a moment. 

I should probably take more photos since I carry a camera around with me via my phone, but I always forget to take photos, haha.

Kathy the quality of photos taken on cell phones are amazing.  The only people I see using cameras these days are professional photographers.

Kathy, you may laugh, but have my Nikon on Marketplace.   Just too hard to carry the camera case, along with my carry-on and purse.  Sometimes airlines won't let you anymore.   I took this photo with my phone, and still one of my favs.   It is in Costa Rica at Hanging Bridges.

Hello Kathy and I have to say I use my cell phone for taking pictures even with a great nikon camera.  We still use the long lens for pictures in the mountains.

I truly have been missing being outside and taking  lots of photos Kathy. I especially enjoy nature photos and I have a ton of them!  Here's my favorite...He was checking out what was for breakfast in our back yard and we just happened to be able to snap a photo on our roof.   He flew away as soon as he say us.   We saved the birds that day!  Check out the size of his talons!!

Happy World Photography Day to you. We are so fortunate that our camera phones have gotten so much better in terms of quality...plus we generally have them with us for those spontaneous moments.

I enjoy taking photos but am not particularly adept at it but every now and then one of my photos is something that I really like.

I lucked out with this one taken a number of years ago at Terramar Beach in Carlsbad at low tide. This beach holds a special spot in my heart as it's where my younger daughter got married.

No surprise to anyone who follows my Wordless Wednesday pics that I enjoy photography. Even before the grandbabies and cellphones I loved taking photos. It was in college that I really developed a love of photography. Rick and I both enjoy capturing interesting pics and had a darkroom for many years, developing our own pics. 

One of my favorite pics from our early years...

Long before AI and all the editing tools available to us today, this was done using camera settings, multiple exposures. We set up the shot and developed the photo and mounted it on cardstock for an assignment in Rick's photography class. Teacher loved it!

Like your Dad, developed images taken with tri-x B&W film, using various lens, camera settings and printed on different kinds of photo stock.

Kids of my four kids, the half dozen grand children are my favorite but travel, nature, local properties are all fun to photo shoot buy capturing people... like at the Louvre tells a story. See how excited to be close but not too close to Mona Lisa?
