My husband and I took my little 2 1/2 year old to our local Northside Park at the base of Paris Mountain the other day to the community swimming pool to find...
It's GONE...completely leveled. BUT the city understood the need for the growing community and is in process of building a fantastic Water Park scheduled to open next Memorial Day! Needless to say we're completely stoked as by that time our guy will be able to really enjoy the slides and sprayers and all a huge pool has to offer. It's supposed to be like it's sister Park, Discovery Island (below) in Simpsonville.

And like when our local Wal Mart came to town and increased our property values (yes it's true) this park and it's amenities will also increase the demand to live closer to nature's finest views of the Blue Ridge.
Just thought you might be interested. I know we can't wait. But for now mommy will have to take Jr. swimming in the Paris Mountain Lake. Daddy won't get in cuz he's a wus but mommy and Kiegan are goin swimmin and boatin just another 5 minute drive away in beautiful Paris Mountain.
