Barking Up A Tree Won't Change It's Leaves
My grandpa loved to go hunting with his Blue Tick Coon Hounds. They had unmatched energy, were eager to join in on any adventure plus possessed boundless endurance, making them ideal for the task at hand.
Occasionally, in their excitement, they would mistakenly ‘tree’ an animal, thinking the prey was hiding further up into the leafy branches. They’d doggedly pursue it until commanded to stand down or sit down, in this case.
No matter how much noise is made, it doesn’t necessarily change the outcome, just like focusing on the wrong things won't solve the problem or change the situation. Redirecting energy toward the correct target, works.
Those hounds are trained professionals in their field just as agents are in the real estate industry. While representing clients, it best pays to remain focused because an ineffective course fails to yield desired results.
Grandpa knew that errors were part of the process and was very forgiving toward his beloved hounds. Buyers and sellers are not as understanding and may start a new hunt for someone else who can do the job.
The trees bark don't bite but the dogs might and barking up the wrong tree won't make it right. Wishing you all tail-wagging successes that’d make Grandpa and his hounds proud!
