There Is Nothing Like The Real Thing

We have had one of the wettest summers on record in Minot this year yet I don't remember seeing a rainbow in 2025. I suppose with AI and many other apps I could add a rainbow to many of my photos but it just doesn't compare to the real thing. 

The photo above was taken 20 years ago from my front yard. The building is historic Corbitt Field. Satchel Page used to pitch here with the old negro league. Satchel was in Minot for two or three years with The Mallards baseball team.

Real Estate is all about the "REAL" thing. Real property is property you can own and hold title too. 

AI is artificial, it's in the name, it's a lie! Are things better when embellished with a lie? Ask Adam and Eve. I am of the minority that say NO! A lie is a lie, is a lie.

Do you enjoy the cartoons written by my son (Timmothy N. Timm) which I use as a springboard to write my daily posts? His strip, Titus & Philemon, has run in two newspapers for years as well as being printed in my blog every day. Titus & Philemon (pronounced Phi - Lee -Man) are guinea pigs. Their owner is Joe. Good morning Bob. Unfortunately, these days it's the definition of the words "real", "honesty", "truth" and "Lie" by the individual that dictates their opinion. Maybe people should disclose how "genuine" their definition is. Just saying! Enjoy your day.

Well said Wayne Martin . Just as with the first two humans on Earth, people today do NOT confess their lies, they blame others. Adam and Eve have a lot of company today with those who blame God instead of themselves. You hardly hear"The Devil made me do it" much less "I was in error".

Hi Bob,
I don't think you're in the minority about lies. Rainbows, sunrises, and sunsets are always better in real life. No picture can do them justice.

Thank you Carol Williams . I realize that AI is all the rage today and there is no putting things back into Pandora's box but I foresee a lot of big problems coming up caused by the acceptance of AI as the truth.

Truth is lacking, with and without AI. I see many positive aspects of AI but the opportunity for evil is also very real.
