The Second 2025 San Diego Restaurant Week
~ September 14 - 21 ~
No doubt food lovers are thrilled San Diego Restaurant Week is just around the corner. Restaurant Week begins Sunday September 14th and runs through the 21st. This is the 2nd of 2 events for 2025 with 8 days of wonderful dining opportunities.
San Diegans can enjoy a wide range of food offerings at great prices at 100+ restaurants around San Diego! Dedicated food lovers can’t go wrong with so many choices.
The big challenge is making the decision about where to eat, and at how many different eateries during the 8 days.
San Diego Restaurant Week offers reduced prices on fixed price multi-course menus for lunch, brunch and/or dinner. At some places you’ll find a drink included as a course. Remember that not all restaurants offer 3 meals – some just offer dinner.
You’ll find restaurants covering a wide geographic area, including downtown San Diego, inland/East County, and north to Carlsbad and Oceanside. (photo is from Pixabay and not an actual photo from Restaurant Week).

There are 6 restaurants participating in my hometown of Carlsbad – Seasons Restaurant, Napatini Wine Bar, Casa de Bandini, Giaola Italian Kitchen, Alejandra’s Cantina, and Benihana.
Fixed prices range by meal, starting at $20 at lunch (there are a limited number at this price), and vary by restaurant. Check out the individual restaurant listings to see what is offered and pricing.
2025 San Diego Restaurant week is a delicious way to check out places where you might not typically eat. It’s a great way to expand your culinary horizons and dine at places you’ve heard about but haven’t yet tried.
Some restaurants offer outdoor dining, curbside pick-up/take-out, and deliveries. Don’t make assumptions but check with the restaurant first, depending on your preferences, for options, pricing and availability. And be sure to check the restaurant hours and meals offered…it may only be dinner!
No doubt you will find some dining options near your home. But why not travel a bit and explore new places. It’s a great opportunity to be adventurous in your dining instead of doing the same old thing.
Participation in San Diego Restaurant Week 2025 is easy. Tickets are not needed. Simply visit participating restaurants that interest you and take advantage of great dining and special prices.
While reservations are not required, they are highly recommended, especially for dinner and on the weekend. Remember, this is a popular event. It’s better to be prepared with a reservation than have to wait in line or be disappointed that there is no room for you.
If you’re not keen on the Restaurant Week options being offered you can order from the regular menu.
Some restaurants offer Open Table reservations directly from the San Diego Restaurant Week website, or from their own business websites.
It’s time to plan brunch, lunch or dinner out during San Diego Restaurant Week, perhaps more than one time. All you need is your wallet and a good appetite, and you are good to go!
Bon Appetit/Buon Appetito!!
