I always enjoy participating in the challenges hosted by ActiveRain. I am grateful that Leanne Smith and Bob "RealMan" Timm are hosting this month's challenge. Thank you both very much for doing so. For those who have followed my blog in the Rain for any significant time, I am sure you know full well that I am all about meeting people and making connections, haha. When I am traveling, I always reach out to the Rainers in the area that I will be in, hoping to meet them. I have had a great amount of success in meeting many AR members throughout the country. Since two posts are the limit for this challenge, I decided that I would focus on the two most recent meetups. I will post some pictures of other meetups I have had over the years, and perhaps people can guess where these meetups were held and who the participants are in the photos. I would love to have those in the comments, haha.
Back in November of last year, I knew that I was going to be in Washington DC for a few days, so of course I reached out to all the AR peeps in the area. I was impressed with how many agreed to get together and how many actually showed up. We had such a great time together, and it led to us becoming a bit closer since we had actually met in person. I was going to name all of the participants, but now I think it might be best to allow everyone to guess, haha. Also, I think there is a limit as to how many people can be tagged within a post.
