This is second posting for the new weekly feature, Weekly Yountville Real Estate Update. I intend to post here the real estate happenings for Yountville every week. This will include normal activity such as new listings, pendings, solds and other real estate stats. Besides just real estate info, I hope to give the readers of my blog some insight into the heart of Yountville using a variety of media including photos, tidbits, gossip and other fun things. Every so often, a quintessential Yountville "Old Town" property comes to market. Old Town is exactly what the name implies, the old section of homes in the middle of Town between Washington and Yount Streets. It generates as much demand for homes here as for the newest and most modern homes built in the last few years. Prices for remodeled homes in Old Town bring top dollar and generally 
sale fairly quickly.
2031 Adams Street is such a property. Situated in the center of Old Town, this house has the charm and upgrades many look for and as such, should do well in this mixed bag market we are in. The home is listed for $985,000 and is set on a nearly 6,100 SF lot (per Realist). It is a two bedroom, one and one half bath home with a great, private rear yard. Yountville is called a walking Town, where one walks to the post office, the market or if one is so inclined, to the French Laundry. Thus Adams Street, being in the center of it all, is at the top of my recommendations for someone seeking the essence of Yountville.
