The Charlotte BookPalooza Festival📖, presented by BooksOnTheHouse.org, a free mobile book collective, isn’t just for avid readers. It’s designed as a community gathering where everyone—from first-time festival-goers to seasoned book collectors—can find something to enjoy. This event will be packed with author signings, loads of giveaways, live entertainment, local vendors that love books, a reading lounge, interactive experiences and ALL THINGS BOOKS!

Good morning Nina. Anything that encourages more reading is a good thing. My grandson was challenged at school to read more, either a chapter a day or 20 minutes. We bought him 3 books in a 25 book series and he read them in 3 days. We bought 7 more and he has one to go. His dad just ordered another 10. Maybe he should order the other 5 now. My grandson has become a mini-Roy Kelley with his book a day pace. Enjoy your day.

Wayne Martin hi Wayne... I would do everything possible to keep encouraging your grandson to develop his love of reading. Our two great granddaughters adore reading. Their younger sister isn't old enough to read, but hopefully will follow in their footsteps. Instead of "throw away" gifts, I send them gift certificates to a children's book store in Portland... they love going with their Dad to pick out their own books.
