Why Building Great Relationships Is Hard (But Worth It!)

Can building great relationships really be simple? Yes…but simple doesn’t mean easy! Simple can be hard.

The best teams and businesses succeed because they make people feel valued - besides providing value. Sales people have long been taught - provide value. However, the new and more sincere way to serve is focused on valuing clients. But distractions, stress, and busy days can get in the way of sincerely caring and letting that care become natural. It takes a mind shift and a self allowance of evolution for SALESpeople to be less Salesy and more caring. This won't make sense to everyone, in my opinion.

How to Focus on Simple Relationship Habits:

  • Say thank you—often!

  • Be quick to forgive.

  • Listen without interrupting.

  • Be honest and kind.

The golden rule? Treat others the way you want to be treated. Simple, right? But doing it every day takes real effort.

“Strong relationships require showing up, caring, and paying attention—even when it’s hard.”

Pick one simple act of kindness to try today—you’ll be making your world friendlier and better.

Hello Heath - once again, the saying, "under-promise and over-deliver" comes to mind while reading your post.
