With an upcoming trip to Atlanta for a Leading RE Brokers Forum and reading the September AR challenge co-hosted by Leanne Smith and Bob "RealMan" Timm "Changing Seasons ~ Creating Connections" criteria I decided to reach out to my best friend from high school. Jeff Buffo has been a REALTOR ® in Atlanta with KW for 25 years and this trip would be the ideal time to catch up.
On Saturday we took in an Atlanta Braves vs Houston Astros game and Kathy Steib's Astros were victorious 6 - 2. Sunday night we went to a concert in Peachtree City and saw STYX. This was the first band we saw in concert in 1981 when we were in high school. Jeff, being a Pittsburgh Steelers fan, was happy to hear the encore "Renegade" sung by Tommy Shaw.
Last fall Tammy Lankford posted a question on Q&A looking for a recommendation for a good agent in the Atlanta suburbs to sell a property in the area. I answered with Jeff's contact information and Tammy reached out to him and had a very good conversation. Tammy called to thank me for introducing them and I explained to her that we have been friends since our freshman year in high school. Jeff co-listed the referral from Tammy with another local agent who specializes in land sales. After listing the property it sold very quickly.
Jeff asked how I knew Tammy and I explained what the active rain community was all about and why he should join. During my visit this weekend I sent Jeff an invite link and explained how to create a profile.
Jeffrey Buffo successfully created his profile and now it is time for all the Rainers to encourage him to get busy and explain all the great benifits about the active rain community.
