Pre-foreclosure Market for Central Florida

By
Real Estate Agent with Innovative Realty Solutions Group BK3158345

I looked at the pre-foreclosure listings for Central Florida. These stats are for all active, pending and sold in 180 days listings for Orange, Osceola, Seminole, and Lake Counties as of September 6, 2015. These numbers include all types of listings.

Will short sales drive the market prices down? Will they become the norm again? Will Congress have to put in temporary protection as they did two decades ago?

Give me a call, if you have questions about short sales vs foreclosure.

How does this compare to other time periods- up, down, about the same?

That's a great question. I don't have time today to look back but I will look regularly to compare numbers and share.

Gosh, I hope we don't repeat 2008-2010 again.  I was very good at working with lenders on short sales, but I don't want to have to go through that again!  What a mess that was.

Hello, Dee. Thanks for bringing attention to the pre-foreclosure market, as it's a critical sector to watch. For buyers and sellers, an updated report would be incredibly valuable. Are you planning to provide more recent statistics on the current market? The trends you've highlighted are certainly important to monitor.

I agree and previously said I would look at the numbers in a month or so and post.
