Friday Flags: A Surprise on Turning the Corner in Watertown CT

While passing along the outside of an industrial park in Watertown, CT traffic was slowing for road repair. As I was able to get closer to the area, a flutter to my side caught my attention.

I lowered the window of the car and took my shot.

The car behind me tooted to get me moving but the one shot was all I needed.

Sometimes, I sit and wait, and this made up for a lot of periods of pleading to the wind gods for a gust.

I totally get it, Ed Silva, 203-206-0754. That feeling when you're just driving along and a perfect photo op presents itself. That one quick shot of the flag was absolutely worth the honk from the car behind you! It just goes to show that sometimes, a little patience really pays off.
