If we let past incidents, those that tainted or corrupted us including abuse, torment, hellish in nature, evil & unacceptable to say the least linger, then they continue their reign of horror on us. We have the ability to revisit those unpleasant episodes, (when we are ready), & change the ending, so they depart from us once & for all. The first step is to stop resenting or hating even if you have a right to do so: DON'T!

You had your turn
PAINS & SORROWS of LIFE
An event cannot have power over your entire life both inner & outer but can affect us this we know. To be rid of the past, we must revisit it as blocking it out, drinking or drugging it out of existence is only a temporary fix. We need permanency here. Visiting with the past gives life to it with a very important change in the moment
WORTHY NOTE: The visiting I am speaking of is when it presents itself: we let it, & observe it, as it parades before us & plays out the episode. Your feelings will be triggered but just resist the temptation to do anything. Just watch it! This is part of the healing. Remember: we know the ending. Now, to change it & be done with it
WORTHY NOTE: The light of reality will come forth & do its work to mitigate. The Truth uses reality to set you up to be free. There is no defense against reality
WE ARE NOT HELPLESS THIS TIME AROUND
Our adult self now works for us & helps & protects that inner child for whatever takes place. We are going to heal & not be haunted or pursued relentlessly from something that deserves to die. So, let's put it to rest by changing the ending
1. Stop hating or resenting which allows it to exist & replay over & over.
2. God is no myth & crying out for help works. Let go! Release it with tears. Do it
3. Morning for the child (yours) who could not protect itself is worthy & respected
4. Those that did these things were out of their minds. They will/do suffer for it
5. Sort out blame, denial, what ifs & be free from it all, by triggering closure powers
THE PAST WILL LOSE ITS GRIP
We want to disarm the past, sort it out, mourn & reassign new roles. When you do that, the now or present becomes very powerful & you are setting up the future too. Our inner child plus our adult, will take over from this day forward. So be it
ALL SUFFER FROM SOMETHING
Whether childhood causes, current mishaps & injustices, PTSD from any event, injustices, wrongs, harmful circumstances, bad choices & outcomes, deep despair & surrender, & this will shock you: Many people wish they were dead which is a common reaction to trauma & abuse but rarely acted on. Suffering replaces it
IMAGINE THIS
Using time as a healing tool, & working our way back to wholesomeness, we eventually will correct & redirect the past "hells" to their true fate i.e. good riddance & what is left is a grateful, smarter & deeper feeling individual for sure
WHEN I RAPE COUNSELED
Helping the victim was challenging enough for all but what was agonizing is seeing & hearing from mothers, fathers, siblings & the like including hospital personnel & law enforcement, their sadness, anger & perplexity as to how someone could hurt another. The only remedy? You sob, weep & lament it out until gone & are exhausted. Then, repeat the process & lo & behold, it starts to diminish. The tears, groans & weeping with sorritude calls on God intervention
TRAUMA LEAVES WHEN IT LEAVES
We go from the walking wounded to the I am not giving up stage over time sometimes years. But it is the right direction to travel. I used to wonder when I read about Christ why he was treated so bad until I realized it was for our sakes.
CHRIST CAN RELATE
This guy was punished & treated for things he never did making him able to relate to suffering with or without cause. He also sets a fine example of how to overcome it all & HIS story ends on a very positive note. He invites us to join & follow Him
THIS BRIEF LIFE
Whatever time you are given, it is sufficient to address all things presented. What is not accounted for is "how" much time allotted. Thus, put off nothing, seize all opportunity, be courageous & a pure heart & know; is not treated in vain but precious before God. I speak of you
