Your prayers have already been answered. Remember: we don't know how to pray or what to ask for. Both are relevant. On the 'asking", God already knows what you need & on the how, well let's explore that further. You may just find how simple it all is. Don't confuse this with a guarantee of a result for that is up to the Result Giver. However, the plan, answers & His part is active. All that is left is your part
WORTHY NOTE: Prayer is not a game show where you guess the right answer & win or second guess & go home with a booby prize. Prayer is intimacy with love
GETTING STARTED
Prayer is the beginning of closeness, a sharing & establishing a love driven send-receive between God-mankind called intimacy. THINK: Getting to know you with emphasis on God went first. How? It is self-evident. You are surrounded by His works, you are in them, He is in you, & the next step is for you to wake-up to it all. & send some of the receivee back to the receivor (origin). It must go full cycle
seek, ask, yearn, inquiry, explore, adventure & it is so
HOW DO WE KNOW ANYTHING OR ANYONE?
Via Intimacy, i.e. the getting to know anyone or thing which starts with an obvious awareness first step followed by an interest & then an inquiry. If you want to know more about what you are seeing, wanting or surrounded by, go towards it & it reveals itself. That's the system. There is no effort involved. No act of will just choice
WORTHY NOTE: Look in any direction, general or specific, & you will see endless wonders, awes & questions to ponder-wonder. God went first. Now your turn
WORTHY NOTE: Your heart is continually before God as is every lifeform-made thus you are known down to the last cell or molecule & beyond yourself too
WORTHY NOTE: Mind the attitude of God doing things for you because He can & instead, ask for humility when approaching. Why? You know not what you do
HE WILL SHOW YOU YOURSELF
Coming before God in prayer mode is designed to test your resolve & motives. How bad do you want it, why, & are you rewardable i.e. doing things that command a reward, also visits with you too. Many never pursue their requests for the giving up of them. Others repeat the request (like if God is deaf) stating; I have asked & asked until blue in the face. How about the group who thinks they know what they need & just want what they want & asks for it sort of like there, I said it, & then goes into the I'm waiting, entitlement mode.
SOME GUY ASKS: TEACH US TO PRAY
There is an episode in the bible where a person (just like you) asks: teach us to pray & then a prayer is given. That example introduces us to how we should pray so that a send & receive is intimately set-up which is love driven. Visit that prayer for this reason: It's about Him, not you yet you are a part of it. Mind the order
FIRST GOD, then?
Conversing or calling out to God this we know. But remember who we are talking to is a good reminder. He knows all things. He knows what you want before you ask. He wants to take responsibility for you after all; He created you & will finish what He started. He hears, knows & is, all things & there is nothing we can teach or tell Him. What's left? He wants a relationship (intimacy) with us. We want it too
THE ANSWER TO YOUR PRAYERS
Your answers are eagerly & already given (as I will explain & coming up) but the answer or even your prayer is not how you perceive it to be but how it is intended for you to have, by Him to prosper & more. Plus, we don't know how to pray thus the answers to prayer go on hold, waiting for you to change/learn to receive them. THINK: mutual courting where we get to know, respect & want more of each other
