What the cluck is up in southern Utah?
There's a strange phenomenon happening yearly in St. George, Utah and just in time for a spooktacular, Halloweeny season! Turkey vultures have once again descended upon a woman's property, roosting in her trees, a fowl habit that has lasted for decades.
Though, following a yearly migratory pattern, they are quite a nuisance, especially evident in the fallout of droppings and debris by dozens of large vultures. That creates a consitent mess, so remember to bring an umbrella when visiting and watch your step!
The troop of turkey vultures, with their ominous appearance and scavenging nature, has turned her lot into an unintended sanctuary. It becomes difficult to co-exist with these misunderstood birds, whose ecological role clashes with their less-than-welcome impact.
Birds of a feather stay together but she wants these squatters to get the flock off her property and that's nothing to squawk about!
