The other morning, I needed to be someplace before 8:00 am and it was about 6 miles away. The temperature was 72º, sun was coming up from the east and I was driving to the west. Such a beautiful morning I decided perfect for a golf cart ride! If you are out and about early in The Villages you are soon reminded why people live here! Walkers, joggers, walking pets, golf carts with people going golfing or to play pickleball all enjoying life.
We have a street legal Gem golf cart which means we can drive on roads with speed limit under 35 MPH (maybe a future article). I needed to go west from Morse Boulevard to the westside of The Villages. I got on the multimodal trail at Morse to Parr Drive on the other side of Buena Vista Boulevard due to 466 speed limit is 45 MPH. The multimodal drive by golf cart is a very scenic as you border Arnold Golf Course. Morning dew on the golf course, birds and so much beauty and again I know I made the right decision moving here.
