How many folks out there remember hearing this as we were growing up?
How many said it yourselves?
Funny how our childhood memories can shape us.
I distinctly remember, "Pretty is as pretty does..."
Or, "Your face is going to freeze that way..."
A life moment for me was commenting on someone passing by, while sitting in a car with my mother. My mother's immediate response was, "Can't you let anyone pass by?"
It did make me realize I had a critical personality. Over the years I honed that "observation" tactic of mine into analytics.
Buyer's appreciate my attention to detail. My willingness to help point out flags that they have missed in their enthusiasm to find a new home.
I have a running joke that I'm very critical the first 30 houses...after that...I love them dearly! As agents, I'm sure you've run into buyers that are simply using our ability to access properties.
However, most of my clients nowadays are by referral only, and as a team, we're serious.
I'm seriously invested in helping to protect my clients.
So can I let a "defect" pass by. Probably not.
