It’s that time of year again, and I couldn’t be more excited to lace up my sneakers with the incredible Queen B’s team for the Susan G. Komen MORE THAN PINK Walk on Sunday, October 26th, 2025 at Barton Creek Square (2901 S Capital of Texas Hwy, Austin, TX 78746).
For the past four years, I’ve been honored to walk in support of breast cancer awareness and research, but this year (like every year), my steps are especially for my dear friend Bianca Vanderberg. Bianca is beating the odds and showing us all what true courage looks like! Diagnosed with stage 4 metastatic breast cancer in May 2021, she continues to live each day with grit, grace, and an unstoppable spirit. She’s a devoted wife, a loving mom to two amazing boys, and the heartbeat of our “beehive” of family, friends, and prayer warriors.
Walking with Queen B’s is always one of the highlights of my year. Our team is filled with energy, laughter, pink spirit, and plenty of buzzing encouragement. On the backs of our shirts is a powerful reminder from 2 Corinthians 12:9: “My grace is sufficient for you, for my power is made perfect in weakness.” It grounds us in faith, while Bianca inspires us to keep moving forward with love and hope.
Every step we take is for a future where no one must fight this battle again. Until that day, we’ll keep raising awareness, supporting the Komen mission, and carrying hope in our hearts. Because as Maya Angelou reminds us: “Hope and fear cannot occupy the same space at the same time. Invite one to stay.”
