📣👙Influencer or Influential?🦉💪

OMG, I laughed so hard at the picture.  It's sort of like the question recently about updated photos.  Speaking of which I need to update my AR photo now that my hair is short again.  

It's hard to find a good attorney here to fool with evictions.  Our asset managers go out of town for the good ones.  Here no one wants to touch anything that might lead to future lost business for them.

HI Candice- interesting. These days I never know who's real or who's AI. As it relates to real estate...it's always best to work with a real person who knows the local community. Get your stats from them as well.  

I recently had a FaceTime call with a friend's daughter whom I hadn't seen in years. The first thing she said to me "Are you a vampire., or AI...you haven't aged?" 

I said...Anne...if I were don't you think I'd have given myself a facelift and removed any wrinkle!!   LOL

An influencer has followers. An influential person has trust. One posts daily. The other shows up daily. One optimizes engagement. The other solves problems.

It’s like the old saying about. It’s nice to be important, but it’s important to be nice even more..

Love it- when I hear someone is an “influencer” I often think “so what?”  An influential person though would get a listen

I would much rather have trust than followers!  Loyalty is also big in my book, so it hurts me deeply when someone that I have always been loyal to is not loyal in return, haha.

Our lawyers who were willing to roll up their sleeves and fight are retiring or moving to the judge positions that have opened up.  I really don't have enough time to train the new ones who have the degree and know everything.

I'm with Gwen Fowler SC Lakes & Mountains 864-710-4518 on the new ones - they are USELESS! Sadly, we have to cherry pick the best of the useless ones and spend our valuable time to train them for our clients. It's so very frustrating! 

As for the agents, Wanda - I'm hearing that people are making decisions on listing their homes, based on social media presence.🙁

They think they'll gain the 'exposure' they need to get their homes sold. I joke (but, am 100% serious) with potential sellers that my real estate marketing time is spent selling their homes, not me. Being cutsey is not the way to sell homes--OR garner real estate agent coaching clients!

The K sisters and their mother have always used their looks and a lot of air brushing to get attention, while others earn a living through hard work, BB.

Unsure what some people are selling, especially those who use suggestive poses in pictures or enjoy showing off their golden globes online. 🌎🌎

I can tell you that I'm not buying into it!

It is what it is. “Sex sells” in marketing is a long-standing idea: that using attractiveness, sexuality, allure (in clothing, pose, etc.) draws attention, triggers emotion, makes things memorable. But what do I know? I'm just from L.A. where most of those ''reality''  shows how to sell real estate came from:) 

OMG I'm enjoying this post Candice!  So spot on.  Every time I hear 'social influencer' I kind of want to you know what! Big deal.  There is a couple in the media and add to that their voice is so strange.....they kind of go into this 'little girl' speak and it drives me nuts.  Trust is what it's all about.  That has certainly been the case for my clients over all those years.   But wait.....am I too old now to get that sexy look going.  What a joke!

Fortunately the clients I attract aren't after me for my looks, but what's between my ears and how I can take care of them :)

There's no shortage of so called influencers in our business, and for the most part I don't find a lot of value there.

On the other hand, give me a guy like the one that runs my preferred heirloom seed company who provides value in his videos, is authentic, him, I'll pay attention to!

Candice A. Donofrio - Well! This was an eye-opener for me! I did not know about the FB Business Page by Scott D Clary. The difference between an influencer and an influential person is rather interesting! It reminded me of a book I bought decades ago. The book was about being a Follower or a person who Follows. When I have time, I'll have to try to find it since the book was written in the 70s or 80s.
