All the dealing with the devil tales have the same common theme i.e. that what you want is given NOW thus you sign away your soul to have it immediately. The true living of the gift of life is not fully appreciated until we are tempted as life is intended to be virtuous (morally rewarding from within) when we achieve our victory over the temptations. Thus, struggles make us stronger, not wronger
