Halloween is just 25 days away. Ventura Harbor Village knows how to do Halloween right. They will be hosting a Witches Paddle in the chilly harbor water. And they want all the good boils and ghouls to come to the party.

Witches Paddle 2025
Dress up in your witchy best. Grab your paddleboard or kayak. You might also want to wear a wetsuit. The water could be pretty cold. If you don't own a paddleboard or kayak, you can rent one at the village. Just make sure you arrive early. Supplies are limited and rent out quickly.
If you want to be part of the group photo, make sure that you show up before 3:30 pm. The paddle out itself starts at 4 pm from C Dock, Harbor Cove Beach, and any public launch ramp around the village. Also, make sure that you wear a life vest. Paddle safely. Lifeguards will not officially be on duty. So make sure you paddle with a buddy.
When the paddle out finishes up, grab something to eat at one of the many great Harbor Village restaurants. They also have live music on Friday nights.
Movies Under the Stars in the Harbor
Ventura Harbor Village also hosts movies under the stars. On Saturday, October 11th, bring a lawn chair and blanket. They will be showing "Hocus Pocus" on the big screen starting at 6:30 pm. But you should arrive by 5:30 pm for the pre-screening festivities. Guests are encouraged to dress up in their favorite costumes. A DJ plays some tunes. Guests will have an opportunity to win prizes playing some games. Macaroni KID plans on giving away some great prizes as well.
