Hi Thomas and Whiskey- I have missed Whiskey's wisdom!  This is a good way to handle getting mad. While I rarely get mad, it usually blows over quickly.

Hello Thomas (and Whiskey too) - some situations seem easier than others, but the Colin Powell quote barks up the right tree as a reminder.

Good morning, Thomas... as always, great advice from Whiskey. I learned a very, very long time ago (because I'm old) that staying mad accomplishes nothing. So I allow myself 15 minutes to be mad and then I move on.

Good morning Thomas. Whiskey's wisdom should be followed by all. One cannot nmake good decisions when mad. So just get over it and move on. Enjoy your day.

Hey Thomas here's a great story of 'Getting Over it'.  When the kids were teens and having a 'bad day' and not 'getting over it' we would put on the Song - Get Over It and turn it up loud.  The had to go into their bedroom or bath and not come out till they 'got over it'.  It never took more than 5 minutes for them to come out!  And they were back in a happy normal place once again.  Worked every time!  Which quickly didn't need to happen at all as they learned how to get over it quickly in their mind.
