Relatable to the Landlord vs Tenant Relationship.

Okay, it's a stretch to relate pet owners and pets to Landlords and Tenants but I'm going to run with it.

Sometimes a Landlord needs to explain "the rules" to their tenants so the tenant can see that the rule(s) are actually for the good of the tenant and/or others in the building.

Granted some rules are ridiculous, like "you can't play Van Halen at full volume at 2:00 AM on your 1,000 watt stereo system. 😂

Do you enjoy the cartoons written by my son (Timmothy N. Timm) which I use as a springboard to write my daily posts? His strip, Titus & Philemon, has run in two newspapers for years as well as being printed in my blog every day. Titus & Philemon (pronounced Phi - Lee -Man) are guinea pigs. Their owner is Joe. Good morning, Bob... any landlord has the right to make his/her own rules. If you're a tenant or want to me and don't like the rules... move elsewhere. At the end of the day, it's not your property. Want to make the rules... buy your own home.

Bingo! You nailed it Nina Hollander, Broker and that is exactly why I purchased my home at the age of 18. Now at 71 I maybe could follow someone else's rules. Maybe. 😉

I agree with Nina Hollander, Broker - if you're a tenant, the landlord rules need to be followed... or find a new rental or buy a place!

I honestly did not know who would give in Brian England but as I reread the cartoon I see Timmothy is taking the idea of obedience  in a Master to slave relationship straight out of the Bible. Timmothy is the most devoted servant to God that I know.
