There are way too many scams out there these days, it's very sad.  I am beyond tired of receiving the text messages from people looking for distressed homes, haha.

Good morning Nina. When we purchased our current home I was scared to death of the wire transfer part. And well I should have been. Right after the wire transfer our account was hit by a series of additional transfers totaling thousands of dollars. The bank replaced the funds after an investigation. Enjoy your day.

Wayne Martin oh my goodness, Wayne. Do you know if this was an inside job at the bank? We've had to change our bank account twice this year already.

I have received no less than SIX attempts on OUT OF STATE OWNERS trying to sell unimproved land lots. Each one has been bogus. I will not even return a call any longer.

Nina scammers have become very creative at scamming people out of their money.  If it sounds to good or suspicious then there is a very good chance it is a scam.

George Souto hi George... I think the problem these days is that a lot of people don't really know when something is suspicious.

Good evening Nina Hollander, Broker ,

Real estate scams are surging just like all the scam phone and texts we get! It's getting ridiculous! I tell all my clients do not include me on any emails about their financials...only talk with encrypted emails with the title company!

Dorie Dillard Austin TX same here, Dorie. I don't want their wiring instruction, I don't want the attorney's wiring instructions, I don't want their social security numbers. My office stopped requiring copies of earnest money and due diligence checks for contracts as part of the file a least six years ago.

Hello Miss Nina Hollander, Broker we cannot be too cautious.  Scammers are not just focused on real estate.  Stop and Pause.  Look at the email. Be careful.  I get a lot of credit card alerts ... on cards I do not have.  That is my first clue - yet I confess for a few seconds, my heart races.

Kathleen Daniels, Probate & Trust Specialist if we stop and really think about it, it's crazy how we live today being suspicious of texts, phone, emails, mail, etc.
