Celebrating Carol: Congratulations on Your Beautiful Book!

Congratulations to Carol Williams  on the publication of your first book, “The ABCs of Life: Letters to My Granddaughter.”

It’s a beautiful, heartfelt collection of wisdom, reflections, and gentle life lessons written with the love only a grandmother can express. Each letter is a reminder to slow down, cherish the moment, and live with kindness and purpose.

Every once in a while, you meet someone whose presence fills the world with warmth, creativity, and heart. That person is Carol.

Knowing Carol reminds me how powerful a relationship can be, especially when you share both joy and loss, the loss of her beloved Max and the loss of my Lee, two guys who brought us deep love and unforgettable memories. In that moment of shared understanding, Carol gently reminded me that I am living my bucket list, and she was right. Sometimes it takes another's insight to help you see how rich your life truly is.

Carol writes with such passion and authenticity that her words reach into your heart. But she doesn’t stop there. She creates songs and poems that tell stories — including one about Lee, and even one for my radio show. Her generosity of spirit shows in everything she does.

Each week, Carol shines her light on others through her blog, highlighting kindness, connection, and community. She celebrates people, not for what they have, but for who they are.

When she’s not writing or composing, Carol can often be found traveling the country, golf clubs in tow, meeting other ActiveRain members and friends.

Her life is a joyful mix of creativity, compassion, and adventure — and she shares it all with an open heart.

I am incredibly proud of all of Carol's accomplishments and the impact she has made through her writing. Her journey is truly inspiring, and I can't wait to see what she brings to life in her next book!

Thank you, Carol, for reminding everyone to view life as a gift, for your friendship, your kindness, and the way you continue to inspire so many lives through your words, your travels, and now, your beautiful book.

Wow, Margaret, this post is like the biggest hug ever. I’m honestly a little speechless right now. ❤️ 

Thank you for celebrating this milestone with me in such a beautiful way. Who knew a real estate blogging platform could be the vehicle for such a special friendship as we have? 

Your friendship has been one of my life’s most valued gifts. Your encouragement over the years has inspired me to keep writing and finding new ways to encourage others. 

The reception I've been receiving as I share the book with others has been nothing short of astounding.  I remember our conversation about marketing my book. I said writing the book might have been the easy part; marketing it would be the challenge. You said marketing isn't a problem. If what has happened in the last months since the release of my book, you were right! Word of mouth is a powerful thing. 

I look forward to being a guest on your radio show to share it with your audience. Let's set a date once I get settled in Arizona later this month.

Margaret, we bought two books.  We are sending one to my granddaughter and keeping the other.  Each week when we Facetime with her, we are going to read one of the letters together.  And since she loves to read, it will most likely be her who does the reading.  ☺️

Love this Margaret!  You so know our dear friend Carol Williams !  She is on fire with this book.  I loved sending it to  my nieces and can't wait to hear their thoughts. I know they're going to love her book!  And I'm also working on getting her on a local show here in town.  I think it's  THE perfect gift for Christmas (or anytime) and time to get the word out there!
