Selling the Perfect Listing and Making Dreams Become Realities
There are times when we recognize that the buyers looking for a home just need a break. With one of my last sales, I felt a sense of comfort at closing that I felt my years of service had been perfect.
My buyer was a widow, and she explained that her previous home had been badly damaged in a storm.
As the house was so unique, her insurance agent had always made sure that the coverage was adequate to handle all issues.
So, criteria were established
- As she and the children had always lived in a house shaped like a shoe, she wanted something more conventional.
- As she was getting older, she wanted a first level master bedroom suite
- She had so many children, she needed at least 4 additional bedrooms and 2 full baths.
- The kids always wanted a pet, so having enough land to allow them to have a dog would be ideal.
- The kids were still school age so an area with good schools was a must as well as allowing all a good church on Sundays.
Her prayers were answered, and all was well.

There was an old woman
Who lived in a shoe,
She had so many children,
And loved them all, too.
She said, "Thank you Lord Jesus,
For sending them bread."
Then kissed them all gladly
and sent them to bed.
