I’m back in Meridiana, one of my favorite master-planned communities in Manvel, Texas, following the progress of a David Weekley home I’m helping my client build.
This is video #2 in our construction journey — we’re now at the sheetrock stage. It’s one of the most exciting times in the process because the home is finally taking shape. You can visualize the layout, the flow of each room, and how this new home will soon come to life.

🔨 Why the Sheetrock Stage Matters
At this point in construction, most of the framing, wiring, HVAC, and plumbing are complete. Sheetrock is up, and the interior walls are starting to define the spaces we’ve only seen on paper until now.
This stage gives my buyers a chance to:
See how each space feels in real scale
Verify placement of outlets, lighting, and fixtures
Confirm ceiling heights, window positions, and traffic flow
Identify any adjustments before paint and finishes begin
For me as their agent, it’s also a critical inspection point — making sure builder communication stays strong, and that the home’s details match the contract and plans.
