Here are some surprises this week: more Steals than Deals
I was made aware of the money I was spending and throwing away. In fact, it was most likely slowly making me sick as well as wasting my money. I have a feeling many of you will be as shocked as I was.
Let's talk about bottled water and how safe they are
Let's start with these Brands
Poland Springs (there is no such Spring; it dried up years ago, and they are in a legal battle).
Starky Mineral Spring Water - Whole Foods: arsenic found
Dasani - Coca-Cola - adds magnesium, potassium, and high levels of nano Plastics
Deer Park -Use of Forever chemicals, PHFA found (no lawsuit as of yet)
FUGI - arsenic and microplastics
Sam's Choice - Eight chemicals were found in this water; THM is considered a high Health risk.
Topo Chica Mineral Water by Coca-Cola is sold at Walmart in Mexico and contains over 9 PFAS, which were investigated and reduced to 3.9, which is still double what it should be. I like Mineral water, so I will be sure not to purchase this product.
Perhaps you should contact your local water company. I am connected with my water company in Philadelphia, PA.
Instead of writing more—there is more—I am going to attach a video. I hope you find it helpful. I know I did and will not be purchasing any more bottled water. Try using a slice of lemon or orange if you do not like the taste. My friend Jessie puts cinnamon sticks in her water. The video is long, but it is shocking. You may not purchase the water, but younger people are buying these items, thinking they are healthier than drinking tap water. Please watch and think again .
Pass on the message to your friends.
