Friday Flags: Some Subjects Never Have a Bad Side to Photograph

Friday Flags:   Some Subjects Never Have a Bad Side

I was making my weekly run to the Golf Course at Crestbrook Park to take photos of the tree colors and noticed that the wind was blowing at a different direction this week.

Normally the wind blows East or west which on the 1 and 10 holes is either an assist or a detriment. This week, it was blowing to the North which would have required a stance adjustment, but for the flag, it just meant get to a new position.

Some subjects never have a bad side, and that is exactly the case here.

Ed I can't see any color in the trees behind the flag.  Very disappointing Fall this year.

Such a lovely share, Ed Silva, 203-206-0754. Your eye for detail and rhythm in nature made this feel like a quiet walk with a friend 😊. Thanks for the thoughtful glimpse into Crestbrook Park and the way even a flag can teach us to shift with grace. Really appreciated this moment of calm and color!

Great picture, Ed. I'd never thought of Old Glory not having a bad side, but now that you mentioned it, you're so right!

Hi Ed:

A flying flag in the breeze looks great from either direction. Wind gods favored you once again.
