Halloween is literally just days away. After that, we celebrate Thanksgiving. This year, Thanksgiving falls on November 27th. This holiday in particular is synonymous with food. So it makes sense that the Ventura Pottery Bowl of Thanks event also brings food to the forefront.

Ventura Pottery Bowl of Thanks 2025
The Ventura County Potter's Guild hosts their annual Bowl of Thanks event on November 8th and 9th at Ventura Harbor Village. Local artists created hundreds of unique bowls especially for this event. Additionally, they created several other art pieces out of pottery that will be available for sale. This provides the perfect opportunity to start tackling those items on your Christmas gift list. And you help support local artists as well.
When you purchase a bowl from the Bowl of Thanks event, you receive a special punch card. This card allows you to receive special food tastings from a few of the Ventura Harbor restaurants. But these punch cards will only be passed out to the first 300 participants each day. So make sure you arrive early or you might miss out on this great bonus.
Additionally, guests of the Bowl of Thanks event also get to enjoy some live music from local musicians out in the plaza. Feel free to stop in at any of the Village's boutiques while there as well. Knock more items off your Christmas list, grab some holiday decorations, and/or pick up hostess gifts for the holiday parties you have on the schedule this season.
Turn Back Your Clocks
