There is always something happening in Ventura County. With mild winter weather here in Southern California, outdoor events happen all the way through the winter months. Oxnard First Thursdays 2025 is a once-monthly event that brings music, food, and fun to the local community.

Oxnard First Thursdays 2025
The Ventura County Potter's GuildOn the first Thursday of every month, several food trucks set up shop at Plaza Park in downtown Oxnard. It's one place where you can bring your family or a date to enjoy some fabulous eats. Whatever you desire, chances are good you'll find it there. In addition to the food trucks, they added a nice market place of local vendors. So, while you grab something to eat, you can also start knocking things off your Christmas list. And local bands perform live for guests.
Pets on leashes are welcome. Seats will not be provided. Therefore, organizers highly recommend that you bring blankets or lawn chairs for your convenience.
Ventura Pottery Bowl of Thanks 2025
The Ventura Pottery Bowl of Thanks event takes place this upcoming weekend (November 8th & 9th). The Ventura County Potter's Guild hosts this event that allows you to buy bowls created by local artisans. When you do, you also receive a punch card that allows you to get food tastings at some of the Ventura Harbor restaurants. But this is only available for the first 300 people who are at the event on each of the two days. While you are at the Bowl of Thanks event, you might want to visit the Ventura Harbor Village's boutiques to find holiday gifts, hostess gifts, or even some fun, unique decorations for your home.
