Folks from other parts of the country do not think of grass in Arizona, but we do in this irrigated area. There used to be acres and acres of horse ranches and citrus trees in the area that were irrigated from the canals in and dams surrounding Phoenix. Later many of these areas had the land sold off to building developers.
