When Vivian first reached out to us, she was going through a big life change. After many years of marriage, she was now facing an emotional divorce while also managing the challenge of selling her family home on her own. The house held decades of memories, and it was a lot to take in both personally and in terms of day-to-day details. It was all the little reminders of her life there and letting go felt overwhelming.
From the beginning, Larry and I had a goal to make things easier and help Vivian feel confident every step of the way. We went over everything together from pricing, a little staging, and some small repairs. Since she had limited time and energy, we took care of most of the coordination with contractor, photographer, and potential buyers, keeping her in the loop so she always felt in control. We made sure nothing slipped through the cracks and that she understood each decision along the way.
Vivian’s willingness to keep moving forward was inspiring. She asked questions, shared her concerns, and trusted us with the process even when she felt uncertain. When the house sold, she sent us a heartfelt note of thanks, and it was such a rewarding moment to know we had made a difference.

These types of moments remind me that real estate is about so much more than the sale itself. It’s about helping people keep their balance and peace of mind during life’s tougher transitions. Every client’s story is different, whether it’s a divorce, a job move, or another big change. By staying patient, listening closely, and handling the details with care, we can turn what feels overwhelming into something positive.

Real estate transactions may differ but helping our clients reach a successful outcome is always the best part!
