This AI learning is like taking a drink from
a firehose, but a lot more fun.
I'm so thankful for our Tuesday Zooms, which have been ongoing for at least five years and have never disappointed. Always fun and always learning every week. It is mainly the same core of members who show up each week and experience the joy and camaraderie. We love it when a member stops by and realizes the value, only to discover they had no idea what they were missing.

I remember the first time AI was assigned a weekly topic; I thought, 'No way, way above me, and I would have no use for it.' But then, one assignment was all it took-a simple task to create a graphic with a straightforward prompt. I was intrigued and went straight down that rabbit hole. Stayed up most of the night playing with the technology. Since then, all my blog posts have featured AI-created images, making blogging so much more interesting. I have been a steady blogger since 2006, but this technology has been truly inspiring. I'm not sure if the images are enhancing the blogs or if I am looking to create an image as an excuse to blog.
The kindness of each member is impressive. This group eagerly shares knowledge and supports one another while learning. Yes, I still do my daily calls and many times, we, discuss the Zoom topics. It's let me tell you what I learned and then let me tell you what I discovered. You know who you are... those quick calls to touch base, and the next thing you know, it's been an hour of delightful discussion and lots of sharing. It's a bunch who love to brag about what we learned so we can share it with others. Please try it if you don't believe it. Pick up the phone and call any member. You will know what I mean!
I completed the assignment and quickly made a few images, experimenting with the
"in the style of" suggestion.

Then I used another suggestion from the meeting using DeeVid to create a short video of the above images and it even talks! Here it is:
There were so many different programs mentioned like CoPilot, NanoBanana, Grok, AI, Gemini, Perplexity, Grokopedia, DeeVid, etc. (but I did not check spelling). The assignment, create an image and animate or make a video. I'm absolutely loving our Zoom sessions! It’s amazing how we can mix AI learning with having fun. Learning becomes a blast when we enjoy the process!I'm so grateful for the ActiveRain leaning moments we share!
