Air Traffic will be Limited from Several Large Cities - Will you Be Traveling Soon?

It was announced this morning on one of our local stations that the FAA will start reducing the number of flights going out per day at large airports across the Country due to lack of air traffic controllers.

We heard that Denver will definitely be on the list, and I for one, am glad I have no immediate flights scheduled. (until next year)

How will this affect your Holiday planning?   Were you planning to fly to meet up with friends and/or family?   Are you thinking of changing plans?

Good point, Joan — situations like this really highlight how government shutdowns ripple through so many parts of everyday life. ✈️ The sooner the impact reaches the decision-makers, the sooner there’s motivation to resolve it and get everything — including air travel — back to normal. Hopefully, it’s addressed quickly so travelers and workers alike can move forward without more disruption!

Gwen Fowler SC Lakes & Mountains 864-710-4518 the government shutdown does affect a few things around us, besides real estate.   Hope all gets back to normal soon.  I have a client that is a air traffic controller here in Denver.

I have always done my best to avoid flying during the Holidays.  So this is not an issue for me at the present time.  m

Hi Joan- now that we're retired, we try to travel by car, where we can. Larry was a pilot and hates the idea of waiting in lines and/or sitting on the tarmac.

I saw the list of 40 airports and anywhere of decent size will have reduced flights. I'm glad we don't have anything scheduled at this time!

Charlotte is one of the world's busiest airports and a major hub... so we will be affected. But I won't be... I avoid travelling during the holiday season at all costs.

Expert guidance. Exceptional results.

Thanks for the heads-up and thoughtful breakdown, Joan Cox! I’m not going anywhere that involves TSA pat-downs, but this kind of info helps folks stay ahead of the curve. Really appreciate you sharing it so clearly 😊.
