Many years ago I was on holiday in Canada and saw this great sign in a pub in British Columbia, maybe even in Victoria.
Having grown up playing cricket I am often asked by Americans if I can explain the rules and the purpose of the game. The sign is a bit of fun, but I thought it might make you smile at the end of the week as a Friday Funny!
In actual fact the game is far more nuanced than this sign makes out. Games can be one day games or three day test matches. Depending on the type of game the tactics vary considerably.
The sign reminded me of several different British comedians who I can hear their voices reciting this as I read it.
