Regionally, home sales in the West down 0.1% in the 3rd quarter of 2025 to a median single family home price $633,900 from the end of 3rd quarter of 2024.
Home sales in the Northeast increased 6.0% in the 3rd quarter of 2025 to a median single family home price $540,100 from the end of 3rd quarter of 2024.
Home sales in the Midwest higher 4.2% in the 3rd quarter of 2025 to a median single family home price $331,100 from the end of 3rd quarter of 2024.
Home sales in the South up 0.5% in the 3rd quarter of 2025 to a median single family home price $372,800 from the end of 3rd quarter of 2024.
Lawrence Yun, NAR chief economist, stated "Markets in the supply-constrained Northeast and the more affordable Midwest have generally seen stronger price appreciation."
