Filled with Gratitude That God Works In Mysterious Ways

By
Real Estate Agent with Dirt Road Real Estate SA676002000

Often, we do not see the future way.  Yet, sometimes our hopes and desires successfully find that way.  In these instances, I do believe God works in mysterious ways especially with this one listing of a vacant land parcel in Golden Valley, AZ and subsequently quick sale. And yes, I am beyond blessed, thankful and filled with gratitude.

Earlier this year, one of my clients and now a good friend called me about a vacant land parcel that was about two (2) blocks to the west of our home here in Golden Valley, AZ.  I looked and this particular property was not listed on any MLS.  The friend said she saw it on Facebook.

Less than a month later I received a call to list a property two blocks from our home.  During conversations with the sellers who we waved at when they drove by, I learned the wife had just had a cancerous tumor removed from her brain. She and her husband were returning to Texas from Las Vegas (current residence) to be with family and friends along with further treatment for this invasive disease.

The goal for any professional real estate agent is to list properties and sell them as quickly as possible. For this particular property, I prayed for a quick sale to reduce the stress on this couple who had more than enough to deal with.

Next I called my friend who had asked about the parcel and asked if the vacant land I had just listed was the one she saw on Facebook. She replied yes. So I sent her all information.

Within 48 hours, her husband asked to tour the property and I agreed as it was only two blocks away.  I was surprised by their interest.  So I asked, “What is going on?” I sold this couple a custom built home several years ago and they told me they loved the home. In fact, they had improved the home with landscaping, some interior updates such as a gas fireplace and a pool.

The husband said the neighborhood was getting crowded and they were tired of hearing police/fire engine/ambulances every night.  I was asked about the evening noise. My response was a lonely coyote, the grunts of open range cattle, the "hee-haw, hee haw" of a wild burro, possibly a vehicle now and then late at night as well as sometimes a train’s horn. After 8 years I have yet to hear any sirens from any emergency vehicles.

My next step was to notify the sellers that I had showed the horse friendly property to one prospective cash buyer.  Within 2 days, our friends made an offer and the offer was accepted. As with all transactions, I kept all parties informed and the transaction closed on time without a hitch.

Here is what the seller wrote in Zillow:

What an absolute exceptional experience having you handle our land sale . You were a blessing to us and we could not recommend you enough . Thank you!!!!!

I truly believed God was listening and in his mysterious ways the property was on the market for 6 days and sold in just 27 days. My sellers were blessed, but so was I.

My sense is often we fail to ask God for his support and sometimes we fail to acknowledge when that support, a blessing,  happens because it is mysterious.

Currently I am sending photos of the construction of the home to be placed on this over 2+ acre vacant land parcel to the previous seller. The wife who is still battling cancer is thrilled to see how their dream is becoming reality for another horse loving couple.

Yes indeed God works in mysterious ways and I continue to be filled with blessings and gratitude.

Hello Leanne - many sorts of mysteriousness are witnessed as part of everyday life.  I can see no reason why this may not exist beyond the world I recognize.
