The Town of Castle Rock is located about 30 minutes (29 miles) south of Denver and enjoys a population of 70,687.  The elevation of Castle Rock is 6,202 feet above sea level.   Castle Rock includes Castle Pines and many rural farm areas outside the City limits.

The Castle Rock real estate market for the month of October 2025 is showing a slower market, and inventory decreased slightly.  These stats include Castle Pines and Castle Pines Village, single-family detached homes, and multi-family homes, courtesy of Joan Cox, House to Home, Inc.

 

Sales for October 2025

Sales - 145 properties sold ranging from $208,000 to $3,811,000 (last month -  156 sales)

Average Days on Market - 66 days  (last month 54 days)

Average Price $825,108

List Price/Sold Price - 95.26%  

These homes were built from 1950 to 2025

 

The inventory is plentiful in Castle Rock, but has decreased a bit from last month.   Last month, there were 587 new listings, and this month there are 531 homes.   The stats for October show the market is slowing down, and even seeing prices declining in some neighborhoods.

 

The highest-priced property sold was $3,811,000 and is located in Castle Pines Village that was a near-new built (2022).   It has 3 bedrooms, 5 bathrooms, a total of 5,883 square feet, and a 3-car garage on .5 acres.    This property went pending in only 76 days.
