Hello Wanda - while compromise may receive results that are not ideal, I believe the concept has aspects that can move those involved forward.  Of course, consequences of many kinds are a factor - in the short term as well as much longer.   Balance also comes into play.  Many shifts are a part a of the bigger picture that may not level out for some.  It's complicated.  

I feel bad for people that don't hire a solid agent and have to give up some of their wants and needs, but then again, they usually hire a less than solid agent because they are trying to save some money, thus it serves them right, haha.  If they were smart enough, they would realize that a solid agent will actually save them more money than a discount agent, and they won't have to compromise on their wants and needs, haha.
