I am grateful that I love to shop and find good deals, especially this time of year, as the Holidays will be here before we know it. In my opinion, now is the time to buy, unless you love the mad rush and standing in long lines.
Let's start with Nordstrom Rack. I found the most lovely shoes online by Karl Lagerfeld. They were $158 retail, and I saw them there for $66 with my discount. Amazon had them for $108, and I had been looking for them for quite a while, so it was a no-brainer. Even at the Nordstrom.com site, they were full price $158. I ordered them for pick-up at the closest store near me. They were even nicer in person, with the bows adorned with little rhinestones and the heels at the perfect height making them ultra comfortable . They look adorable with wide-leg or straight-leg trousers. They fit true to size . They are also great dressy.
While I was there, I saw the cutest hats and scarf sets for $24.99, boxed and ready to go by Steve Madden, in a variety of colors. What a deal —seeing the hats and scarves by themselves at these prices makes a great holiday gift combo.
Next was Amazon. I have been walking to keep myself in shape. Now that colder weather is ahead of us, I wanted to find some warm clothing. I have a hoodie with a faux-fur front inside and another with a fleece front inside to keep my chest warm. I also received my flu shot. I do not want a repeat of last winter. Amazon had fleece-lined jogger pants. I took my time reading reviews and ordered from two different sellers, as returns are straightforward. Wow, was I pleased with my first choice. They were perfect, and I know I will be warm while walking and comfortable. Hixiaohe Women's Casuals Sherpa-lined jogger leggings $28.79, and come in a variety of colors. They were usually $35.99. FYI, the other brand was nice, but was not as lovely as these. The Washing instructions are confusing, but these are soft as can be. I would buy them at the higher price.
There is nothing better than s getting shopping done before the Mad Rush of people shopping for the Holidays. I am Thankful I started my shopping in September. The rush has started but after Thanksgiving the so called sales will start.
I also found some nice velour joggers and leggings on Amazon, very reasonably priced. For quality, my favorite seller is Conceited. I have kept them from year to year.
