We have started snowbird season here in The Villages, Florida and the calls have started. A typical call is we have been renting the past few years and think it is time to consider purchasing a second home or maybe even selling up north and finding a way to be in The Villages eight or nine months a year, or maybe full time.
Between increase traffic our team is seeing and some numbers that show things picking up personally I feel business is picking up! The MLS inventory is holding about steady around 600 listing from the north end to the south end of The Villages. Forty-five homes were sold last week, fifty-four homes went pending, sixty-one new listing and sixty-three price reductions. Historically we are our busiest starting the first of the year until about April so we will see what 2026 brings!
