Easy Pumpkin Pie Recipe
This simple recipe uses Baker's Choice Pumpkin Pie Mix for a delicious homemade pumpkin pie.
Ingredients
- 1 can (30 oz.) Baker's Choice Pumpkin Pie Mix
- 2 large eggs
- 1 can (12 oz.) evaporated milk
- 1 unbaked 9-inch pie crust (store-bought or homemade)
Instructions
- Preheat your oven to 425°F (220°C).
- Prepare the filling: In a large mixing bowl, combine the pumpkin pie mix, eggs, and evaporated milk. Whisk together until smooth and well blended.
- Pour into crust: Pour the pumpkin mixture into the unbaked pie crust, spreading evenly.
- Bake: Place the pie on the center rack of your preheated oven. Bake at 425°F for 15 minutes.
- Reduce heat: After 15 minutes, reduce the oven temperature to 350°F (175°C) and continue baking for 40-50 minutes, or until a knife inserted near the center comes out clean.
- Cool: Remove the pie from the oven and let it cool on a wire rack for at least 2 hours. This allows the filling to set properly.
- Serve: Serve at room temperature or chilled, topped with whipped cream if desired.
Tips
- The pie is done when the center is slightly jiggly but not liquid
- Store leftover pie covered in the refrigerator for up to 4 days
