If you have never been to The Villages, Florida be prepared, this place is big! From the northern most part of The Villages at State Route 42 to the new Middleton area is 22 miles and never leaving The Villages. To help make it easier we have broken The Villages down into 6 areas,
Area 1 is what locally is called the Historic Area. This is where The Villages started, east of 441 many of the original manufactured homes have been removed and new homes been built..
Area 2 this area is north of County Road 466 to south of State Road 42 including the Spanish Springs area and Southern Trace.
Area 3 (Between the 6's) The Lake Sumter Landing area. County Road 466 to the north and County Road 466 to the south.
Area 4 The Brownwood Paddock Square Area. South of County Road 466a to State Road 44.
Area 5 South of State Road 44 to the Turnpike, this is home to Sawgrass Grove.
Area 6 South of the Turnpike, Eastport, Middleton and Fenney areas.
