Friday Flags: Have a Safe Trip and Come Back Better

We celebrate our anniversary in the first week of November and have been doing so happily for a few years now.

This year had a unique twist to it, and required a little longer stay than we wanted, but as I noted to someone that I talked to, all were riding home the right way.

The morning was cool and brisk and as I looked out the window of the hotel, I saw colors waving at me.

Look closely as it's there.

Looking backwards toward Assawoman Bay, you could see the white caps and I'm sure had we walked over to the ocean it would have been just as white.

Didn't matter where I saw it, but the flag flying on the morning of Veteran's Day had a strong significance to me and I posted a thought and share the additional image I used as well.

Happy Belated Anniversary! It made me think that I never actually had a honeymoon as my husband left two days after our wedding for a business trip to Africa...  as a result it doesn't occur to us to "go away" to celebrate our anniversary some 37 years later!

Good morning Ed. Happy belated anniversary. We never got away for a honeymoon and don't go away on our anniversary. That said we have made it going on 48 years and have no regrets.
