It does! Bridgehampton loam...also called sandy silt and you can't find it anywhere but here. Now of course with all the new development, you can't use it for growing anything anymore! Thanks for commenting, Bill

Thank you so much Roy--I can use all the luck I can find! I am discovering, that like anything else--it's not done until its done! But I have not been as encouraged as I am now--looking forard to getting the first book out there for people to read--already started on THE GOOD SEED and I think it will be easier since I have one under my belt already. I enjoy doing both real estate and book writing and it seems to work well together--I was so inspired by the local farmers predicament, especially the one farm that was lost to an underhanded developer-that is why I wrote the book. The story, as it was happening here, was heartbreaking and compelled me to write about it--with certain changes to protect those involved. Thanks for reading and commenting on my website!

I'm working on the cover now and it is going to be great. Already started my next book in the trilogy: "THE GOOD SEED" I think it willbe just as exciting--they are living on the farm now, after winning it back in a major lawsuit--unfotunately in the real-life story the family just got the house back and lost the rest of the farm to the developer :(  I amhoping the story is well recieved, when it is published-it is a real "human interest" piece. So I wil be getting the polished manuscript back from my developmental editor and will just have a final check of spelling,, grammer etc. to finish it, then it goes to the publisher....I am so excited!

Thanks for commenting--if you want to read the earlier posts I offered up for excerpts of HIDDEN HAMPTONS you caqn do a search and see them--I think there are 2-3 --can't remember exactly and these were older posts so 2020 was when one of them was published. And of course, the book has been edited several times since so the stories have remained the same but their placement in the eventual book will be slightly different. I will be letting everyopne here on AR when it is about to be pubished--I just got word that my book cover designer has a February deadline for completion, so keep that in mind for timing. I suspect summer 2026 is a likely launch date.

So glad to hear from you! I am so excited about the progress that I have made in writing this book--it was a long time ago that I began, but with all the upheaval of the pandemic and the difficult life challenges for me, I feel so thankful that I have made the right moves to get it published. That will happen by summer of 2026, I believe. I am self-publishing so I feel like I am more in control of the timeline--very important to me at this point.
