I love a simmering pot of freshness!  I do this with lemons and other herbs too!  Like rosemary, cinnamon, mint, and orange peels... the house always smells homey!

Hi Mark- Thank you for this idea. Even though we don't have the really cold weather, we tend to have our windows shut for the A/C..  I love that what you use are natural ingredients.

Mark, this is a fantastic, classic natural air freshening tip for the winter months! When North Idaho homes are closed up, homeowners (and sellers!) definitely need a solution that eliminates odors rather than just masking them.

Mark Don McInnes, Sandpoint-Idaho - what a great idea! I'd rather have a clean natural smell in my house than an artificial room refresher. The cost is minimal compared to what it cost to be artificial scents.

I have seen this before and think it is a way better thing than purchasing the products they sell with the toxic chemicals in them, haha.

This is a great idea, Mark, thank you. We love having windows open but the recent weather - quite cool and rainy - rather limits having open windows. I've never heard of this.
