Atlanta Buckhead Midtown
Gratitude For So Many Reasons
Client appreciation is a large part of what makes a real estate career so rewarding. Since 2010 when I sold her an Atlanta condo for her daughter to live in, A.M. and I have stayed in touch. She is retired and lives in Florida.

Sometimes it was a kind "hello and how are you" call from her and sometimes it was about something related to her daughter's home. During one of her trips to Atlanta, she stayed at our house since her daughter's condo was full of grandchildren. Once when my husband and I were near her home in Florida, we stopped and enjoyed lunch with her! Hard to believe that 15 years have passed by already.
Early in November 2025, A.M. was visiting her daughter in Atlanta and we got together at my house. The first time she visited in Atlanta, she mentioned that she had something that would look just right in the Sunroom. For our photo we stood in front of a table covered in a rich blue table cloth that she gave to me one year as a gift. When she worked for the US State Department, one assignment was in Damascus, Syria. While there, she purchased the amazing tablecloth! She was right - it looks wonderful there!
Gratitude? Selling real estate allowed me to meet this amazing woman and become friends over the years. Now she wants to deed her part of the condo to her daughter who wants to move elsewhere. I was able to suggest a real estate transaction attorney for her to get the paperwork and recording completed.
I did tell the daughter that I would like to be the agent selling her home. I described why I thiught I'd be the right person to represent her. Time will tell if she decides to hire our company - Atlanta Homes ODAT Realty. As our name says, One Day At a Time, we will wait for her decision!
PS - Did I mention that A.M. is 95 years old now? You wouldn't think that from looking at her, would you?
